Pickleball Session OS

Run the session.
Keep it fair.

For the person who herds 8–40 players onto a few courts every week. PicklePal builds rotations that actually feel fair — fewer repeat partners, balanced teams, even rest — and rolls with late arrivals, early leavers and fill-ins.

A perfect bracket is easy. Real open play is not.

Anyone can print a round robin. But on a Tuesday night you have 13 people, 3 courts, two players who showed up late, a 3.0 next to a 4.5, and someone who has to leave at 8. That is the problem PicklePal is built for.

Not “another round-robin maker”

Bracket tools assume a tidy, fixed field. PicklePal is built for the messy reality of a community session.

Uneven numbers

Handles any count, not just multiples of 4 — fair rotating sit-outs built in.

Mixed skill

Even teams every game, or group similar levels — your choice.

Live changes

Late arrival, early leaver, fill-in? Update the roster and the rest re-balances.

Felt fairness

A fairness report proves nobody got stuck resting or stuck with the same partner.

Questions

Is PicklePal free?

Yes. The rotation builder, scoreboard and open-play pages are free and work right in your browser — no account, no download. They even work offline once loaded.

How is this different from a round-robin generator?

Round-robin tools assume a fixed, even field. PicklePal handles any number of players, balances skill, distributes rest fairly and lets you add or remove people mid-session without restarting.

Do my players need the app?

No. You run the session on your phone. Share the open-play link and players open it in any browser to see their next match — nothing to install.

Singles or doubles?

PicklePal is built for doubles open play (4 players a court), the format most community sessions use.
